Basic Flow Schematic for Phlebot Operation
Watch now!
The Phlebot has many advantages over the traditional syringe and needle methods for drawing blood and Vacutainers.
With the Phlebot, a physician can order multiple samples over a timeline with only one needle prick which is less painful for the patient and allows the physician to see changes in laboratory samples over a time line creating better data to make critical decisions. The reduced amount of blood drawn using the Phlebot is crucial for the smallest patients where every drop of blood is precious. From an investment stand point, the Phlebot has a continuous supply of revenue even after the initial instrument is bought through sales of the disposable cartridge.
